Lloyd Knipe to re-join Black & White Engineering Solutions after Overseas Tenure

Geoffrey Booth, Managing Director of Black & White Engineering Solutions Pty Limited (BWES) has today announced that Lloyd Knipe will re-join the company as Managing Director- Operations & Supply Chain on 1st January 2012, after completion of his overseas tenure.
Lloyd has worked in Hong Kong and China for the past two years, gaining a depth of experience and understanding of their manufacturing practices, culture and philosophy. The knowledge he has gained will be of strategic importance and inestimable value to his new role, and to BWES as the company accelerates its expansion plans.
Combined with Lloyd’s earlier work in the fields of approbation, quality, engineering and standards, this sabbatical has internationalised his approach to business and enhanced his ability to conduct and nurture it with consideration for current trends. This has consequently enriched his understanding of, and approach to several key disciplines including:

  • Negotiations, with suppliers, factories, management and customers (brands);
  • Manufacturing, including processes, systems and communications;
  • Business relations, from an Asian to Western perspective and vice versa; and
  • International Business Management, from factory to executive level.

These augmented abilities will position Lloyd well to guide BWES through external economic challenges and position the organisation to take advantage of new ways of doing business, ultimately providing enhanced benefits to its vendors and clients.
BWES invites its partners, suppliers and clients to join the organisation in wishing Lloyd every success in his new role and for the future.
